Contributors: How To Add Additional Editors To An Existing Project

You can add additional contributors to your active projects. Contributors have the ability to view and update the project, but they cannot finalize or purchase the project.

To add a contributor:

  1. Start by opening the active project. These are projects that have been accepted and are being worked on.
  2. Click the "View People" link below the title of the project.
  3. Enter the name or email address of the user you wish to add in the 'Contributors' field. If you entered the name of the contributor, select their name from the drop down list when it appears. When selected and added properly, a new 'Contributors' field will appear below. You can add as many users as you wish.
  4. Click the "Save" button and contributor(s) will be notified via email. Your contributors can now update the body field, add comments and upload files to the project.

To remove a contributor from a project, simply click the 'X' that appears to the right of their name.

Contributors will receive email notifications for any updates to the project.

As the Approver of the project, you are the only one who can approve and purchase the project. To make another editor the Approver of the project, use the the
Reassign Project feature.
